High Performance Caps:

Project-X is the new standard when it comes to superior engine cooling. This new water jacket uses custom machined billet aluminum and State-of-the-Art Carbon Fiber. The exellent cooling properties for this cap are contributed by the added water volume, low heat tranfer carbon fiber, small aluminum pressence, and multiple water outputs.

The Carbon Fiber:
Carbon fiber has a very low heat transfer rate, which alows the water to carry the heat away from just the cylinder not both, (Cylinder and cap).

The Small Aluminum Pressence:
With the use of very little aluminum to make this cap it does 2 things.
1. It allows the use of more low heat transfer material (Carbon Fiber).
2. Carbon Fiber is much lighter than aluminum so by replacing the aluminum with Carbon Fiber the result is less weight.

Water Fittings:
The Input fitting is placed in an aluminum collar that is glued to the Carbon Fiber. The collar is used to provide a better hold for the fitting. We can also place the inlet fitting anywhere the customer wants for that true custom look and function.
The placement of the output fitting(s) on the top of the cap eliminates the little air-pocket that the "Stock" cap or any other cap has with the fitting mounted on the side.
We can build this cap with 1 to multiple output fittings to taylor the water cooling to the customer.

We recommend this cap for the High Performance "Modified" engines.
